Advocate Assistance, also known as Technical Assistance (TA), consists of support and resources the coalition provides to victim service advocates, victim service programs, and allied professionals. As the interim executive director, Tamika is committed to supporting the organization, its members, partners, and the community as a whole. Her passion lies in ending gender-based violence, with a particular focus on sexual violence. Throughout her 20-plus year career, she has had the privilege of running a rape crisis program, serving as the Executive Director of the Colorado Coalition Against Sexual Assault, and working as a Technical Advisor for the Women and Girls Rebuilding Nations project, working with teams in Sierra Leone, Liberia, Côte d'Ivoire, and South Sudan.

Keshia's role at IowaCASA is to focus on changing/enhancing current systems to better serve survivors while also focusing on preventing sexual harm. As the Systems Change Director, she also works on organizational change to support and care for our staff who do hard work every day. She believes her role as a leader is to serve others and she take it seriously. She is grateful for the opportunity to work alongside amazing people as we strive to end sexual violence.
