Assistant Director, Rape Victim Advocacy Program
The Rape Victim Advocacy Program (RVAP) at the University of Iowa is seeking an Assistant Director to provide leadership and support for the agency's programs and services. This position will coordinate and provide community outreach, prevention, education, and confidential crisis counseling to victims/survivors of sexual violence, dating violence, stalking, and other forms of violence throughout RVAP's eight county service area. This position will be located in one of RVAP's rural service counties. Exact location to be determined in consultation with the successful candidate and based on the needs of the agency.
Most efforts will be provided in the community to reduce barriers for victims/survivors. This position includes administrative supervision of professional staff and hourly staff.
Starting Salary Minimum is $44,000.
