Certification: Victim Counselor Training

This training is intended as a foundational level training for new Sexual Assault Advocates. For those eligible, it will satisfy the requirements for confidentiality as outlined in the Iowa Code. It is the first step needed towards becoming Victim Counselor certified. Individuals who are interested in learning more about Sexual Assault and networking with advocates are welcome as well and a letter of completion will be provided to all who participate.

Please note that part of this training is to be completed online. You will be required to complete all of the online modules before attending the in-person portion. Please email onlinetraining@iowacasa.org with your first/last name and email address to register for the online training.

This is a 3-day in-person training.

Day 1: 9:30am - 5pm

Day 2: 9am-5pm

Day 3: 9am - 5pm
